You know that expression spreading like wildfire? I guess it is talking about how last summer there were a lot of fires and they spread really fast, because people would light a fire and then seconds later a whole forest would burn down. I can’t think of anything that has happened this year that could be compared to that. There is just nothing really going on this summer.
Everyone just seems to be staying inside and you know, there seems to be this minor phenomenon where some people are wearing masks every day, but for the most part, this year has been really a lackluster year for news. No real big concerts, no big blockbuster movies, not fun celebrations or anything. Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?
I haven’t even seen much hype for the Olympics, which is weird, because isn’t it like just a few months away or whatever? Anyways, let’s just get to the Giftures…
Seems like there has been a lack…

…of big crowds around here lately.
Everyone should be so pumped…

…I mean it’s summertime right?
Where have all the big baseball games…

…been?
I haven’t seen any…

…big concerts.
No big fun…

…camping trips.
No long lines…

…to get into stuff.
No super fun…

…wave pools.
No celebrities…

…getting mobbed.
Seems like no crowded…

…New York subways.
No one outside…

…Rockafeller Plaza.
No big graduation….

…celebrations.
No real…

…tv shows.
Guys, I think I know what is happening. It’s really exciting. Everyone is finally listening to my bitterness and they are becoming boring like me. This is all very exciting. Either that or everyone is morphing into an introvert, which is also very exciting. I’m finally making my bitter mark in the world.
ARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
Bitter Wildfire Ben
Yay, found you again! (I have not been too active on WP lately). Glad to see you got your old blog back up and running and the epic as ever giftures. Can’t get enough bitterness on one day, if you ask me.

Yeah, I was down for about six months because I lost my blog, but after some crazy coincidences, we were reunited. Bitterly of course.

I can only imagine how bitter your blog must be for having been replaced for a period of time and having to miss out on all the fun… I hope it was a bittersweet reunion?

It was definitely a reunion. I just wish that I had known the key into getting back into it sooner, so I didn’t spend so much starting the newer blog.

allthingsawesomeaccordingtomike reminded me about the lack of Olympics…own up to it, Ben…you’re bitter over having to wait till 2021 for rhythmic dancing competition.

Even worse, it’s that I will get second place and have to relive bitter memories.

Good stuff bruv. Weāre all due for some bitterness. AND… OLYMPICS?! I wonder who will get the gold in freestyle bitterness.

I will probably get the silver, which will mean just more bitterness for me. Once a second place, always a second place.

There’s plenty of bitterness to go around. You, Ben, remain the most eloquent and outspoken proponent of bitterness. Whether you have accomplished your aims or something else has stolen your agenda, bitterness definitely reigns today. J.

Whether it was by mistake or just good timing, I’m glad the world is finally getting sucked into the bitterness vortex I’ve been preaching about for 8 years.

Finally, boring wins out, and the tables have turned. The former pressure to be a social butterfly is now pressure on extroverts to entertain themselves. Some are realizing they don’t enjoy their own company. Duh.

Seriously, I think it’s awesome that we introverts are finally in our good place, though it seems like we should get to continue doing that.
