Casual Friday Giftures

It’s been a long week. Every single day I’ve had to wear clothes to work. Not jammies, not shorts, actual clothes. I don’t know what the deal is with strict dress codes around the workplace these days, but this needs to stops. I don’t know why I have to change when I get home. It’s almost like the jobs ask us to change who we are. There was a reason that they hired me right? Why do they have to try to change me by telling me what to wear? I know my legs can be a huge distraction to other people when I show off their hairiness, but I think people can be professional enough to do their jobs in the same room. You’d think that you could at least wear causual clothes on Friday. I mean if you can’t go one level down in clothes on Friday, what is the use of Friday? Other than pizza. Oh and I guess Friday Giftures.

Dressing up in clothes…

…takes moments like this away from work.

No awkward…

…backflips…

No accidentally running…

…into traffic…

No accidental…

….punch dancing.

No amazingly close…

…missed dunks.

No slightly missed…

…head injuries.

No water…

…mishaps..

No dad awesomely…

…kicking a ball into a kid’s face.

No blocking every single…

…kid’s attempt at a dunk.

No dude finding a way to go…

…into a coma.

No flipper finding a way to look cool one moment…

…and a tool the next.

Most importantly…

…the best way to get treated like trash.

Did you notice that about these people? Every single one of these disasters they did for our amusement was done in casual clothes. Shouldn’t companies figure this out? Great disasters don’t happen in suits. They happen in casual clothes where you are comfortable. Comfortable being disaster. Get out there, get dressed down and go do something disasterous.
