Valentine’s Day Bitterness

I am in love...with Dwight's bitterness. I'd like to thank Jim for that.

I am in love…with Dwight’s bitterness. I’d like to thank Jim for that.

I wasn’t going to post anything today because I did something yesterday and two posts on consecutive days.  Aahh….too much.  But I couldn’t let this day go by without professing my love…for Dwight’s bitterness.  I can’t hold it back anymore.  I want to shout it to the world.  I want everyone to know that he is great at being a bitter role model.  I couldn’t have done this blog without his constant bitterness and his support of nothing.  Happy Valenbittertine’s Day.

PS I also wanted to tell you that I am in love with the bitterness of this picture as well.

So is that a yes then?

  1. I had a crappy Valentine’s day but enjoyed this belated post. I think that the picture is sad but I expected sad on this bitter blog. It fits my mood…hope you really are much happier and March is a better month anyway, with St. Patty’s day and drinking beer, etc. Kissing the blarney stone and pinching people who don’t wear green.

    • The picture at the end actually sparked some people to be sad. I had two readers that actually had that happen to them. They were sad at first, but then found viewing it again with a sense of humor helped them deal with it. Most people have crappy Valentine’s Days, so I thought this would help.

    • Are you talking the stunned proposal picture? It should actually read, “This photo offended two of your readers already, so stop posting it”. Just kidding they got good laughs about their bitter proposal refusals.

  2. I love the cartoon. Reminds me of the time I proposed to my ex-girlfriend in Central Park. Not only did she turn me down, but there was a photographer taking pictures of birds and trees. I saw him snap one of us. Somewhere is a picture of the saddest proposal ever. I wish I had a copy.

  3. I am in total agreement with you. I hate valentines day. In fact I call it “Black (insert day it falls on”.. So this year it was “black thursday”, I painted my nails red, and even dressed in black for the occasion. Brilliant, I know.
