According to my daughter, random doesn’t equal funny. Although according to her, she also thinks puns aren’t funny. Actually, I think she also just thinks I’m not funny. Yeah, that is it. That wasn’t always true though. She used to laugh when I played Peek-A-Boo. I guess the older you get, the less you think older people are funny. So maybe humor is subjective. Some people think everyone is funny, while others think nothing is funny. Actually that isn’t true. Gifs are funny to everyone, no matter who you are or how young or old you are. Which means that at least once a week, a post I write is funny. Knowing that prepare to laugh at other with Bitter Friday Giftures.

That sounds like all the Saturday morning cartoons I watched growing up. Except the turtles were teenagers, and mutants, and ninjas.

My wife refuses to see humor in people (or animals) falling down and possibly getting hurt. I think the only gif on this post that she would like is the improvised fail. I’m not quite so particular; when someone is merely clumsy I’m not entertained, but when someone is doing something stupid and it goes sour, I am amused. J.

Exactly so. Except there is one you have shown two or three times over the years that shows a person jumping off a roof, except that the scene is being projected on a screen set up on a stage, and somehow they managed to get a person jumping from below the screen timed exactly to look like the one in the projected video. That one is sheer genius. J.

My favorite was the triple slip, which was three times as funny as the others. Is Game of Thrones funny? IDK, I’ve never watched it, but I’d probably prefer Seinfeld or that show with Tim the Toolman Taylor. 🙂

I’ve got friends and family who do not think I’m funny at all…. including my boys. But, I don’t hold it against them. I just realize that they aren’t as smart as I thought they were…
