This one was actually a basic template that I just had to fill out a few pictures and videos with(done on Imovie). It didn’t take too long. The real challenge was the news that I am doing next week. It took almost a full day to do a 5 minute video, with the filming editing etc. but it was really fun. I hope I can keep it up cause it was really fun.

I’ll look into the iMovie – it looks better than windows movie player. It is time consuming. My vid almost took me a week. However, if you enjoy doing it – which it looks like you did – it’s well worth keeping up. I say, go for it! Can’t wait to see more!

I think the thing about Apple products is that they all come from Apple so they work very well together, which is why they are usually more for the creative types that like to write, make videos, music etc. Anyways, it seems like it is really easy to use and I had a lot of fun with it. Thanks, hopefully I be able to do more!

Yeah, I had so many blunders that I thought it would be fun to keep them. In my intro to the news, I decided that I will have a recurring part where I’m talking to someone off camera on purpose. I love the aspect of bloopers on live TV. And can’t wait to see your next video!

Yeah, if you have Imovie, it’s totally worth it. Though there was a slight learning curve, once I was done, I’m pretty sure I can keep doing this for a while.

Yessssssss! You did it! I thought you forgot. I just checked out your video. I love you started with a trailer first. Hey how did you do the water thing with iMovie? You know how to do picture in picture?

Yeah, the trailer was pretty easy to do with Imovie. I did the water thing with Photo Booth, then transferred that to Imovie. That’s how I did all the recording. As far as the actual News I will be putting out next Sunday, that was way harder and more time consuming. It took all day Saturday without many interuptions, which I won’t normally get (the wife and daughter were out of town).

I didn’t know you could do stuff with photo booth. I mean I knew you could add pictures. I think you did right with the length of the video. It was just right.

Yeah, that’s always what I have used. There is just a button to do video instead of pictures. What do you use to film? I don’t have a video camera, so I just have to use photo booth.
The length was kind of the predetermined length of the trailer. It just had templates that you fill in. I really liked that it did that for you. The length of my newscast is 5 minutes. I’d like to make it shorter next time.

I have a Mac. Since you had photo booth and iMovie I thought you did too. I use my iChat camera and the tools in iMovie.

Yeah, I’ve had a Mac for years, but this is the first time I’ve really used Imovie. And I gotta say that I really have enjoyed doing the editing. I was kind of addicting.

Oh. So on your timeline when you can add music or pictures or other videos, etc, by moving them above the video, you look and there are setting for the actual picture part. There should be a drop down menu of like four things you can do and one is picture in picture. It’s pretty awesome once you figure it out. Let me know if my instructions were too basic.
